Whether we're talking about the California gold rush of the mid-1800s or the "digital gold rush" associated with creating the next Facebook or the next voice-activated search algorithm - there is allure in the potential for success, big money, and opportunity.

In the case of the California gold rush, the biggest opportunity came in the form of businesses that far fewer were thinking about.

What Do I Mean?

Most people were focused on following the "herd" and taking their role as a miner - crouching by the riverside for hours on end with the hopes of striking it rich when the real revenue opportunity was not with the miner, but with the seller of the pans, the shovels, the pack mules, etc...

The Point?

Chances are you are competing in a "gold rush" of your own with the other businesses in your space.

How can you shift thinking and efforts to think more like the equipment salesman in the outpost, rather than the miner by the river?  Think about the potential for success.

The real breakthrough may be just around the bend - just be sure to watch out for rattlesnakes!

Thank you for reading this and enjoy your week!

Client Testimonials

As a local nonprofit, we hold an Annual Celebration and Grant Awards Ceremony each year. Due to our current in-person limitations, we looked to Captivation Agency to help us take our program virtually.  From the outset, they were accommodating and patient, guiding us skillfully through the process with ease. To me, that is equally as important as the final product, and they certainly delivered on both counts. The video was absolutely amazing and is a production that elevates the mission of Impact100 SRQ in the Global Impact community, and across our own community as well. We look forward to our next project!
