WestJet is one of the best examples of an AMAZING use of brand ambassadors. Every year, they do Christmas miracle videos in which they surprise those in need with gifts that range from teddy bears to vacations to Hawaii. They clearly show they care about their consumers and their loyalty to the airline.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
People around the world know of the (kinda creepy) Ronald McDonald. In order to keep customer support and show they care, they started their own charity called the "Ronald McDonald House Charities". They do everything from help fund medical treatments for sick children to give scholarships to deserving high school students looking to further their education at a college or university.
Corner Bakery Cafe
A more small-town example, "Corner Bakery Cafe" is a smaller company than those examples mentioned before. They take customer loyalty and happiness into their own hands to ensure that each and every person that enters one of their stores has a great experience. Before they opened their store in Maryland, workers walked up and down the street with jetpacks full of coffee (honestly my dream), giving free cups to passerby's. This way, citizens in the area knew about the new cafe opening and were able to be introduced to the stellar service and the relationship building the cafe prides itself on.
Publix Grocery Stores
If you're from the South, you've definitely had the pleasure of shopping at the magical place known as "Publix". Each and every employee that works at "Publix" is expected to enforce the infamous slogan "Where Shopping is a Pleasure". The company is known for their great return policy, as well as their helpfulness in getting the food items you need at a good and fair price. Their produce and butchery is always fresh, and the workers at each counter are always willing to help and advise you on the best cut or item. They constantly remind their customers how much they are appreciated through spectacular commercials and local charity events at each location.
While these are just a few of the many examples of showcasing brand ambassadors, they are some of the best and most creative. Whether your company is big or small, brand ambassadors are a big piece in the relationship building aspect of the puzzle.
