Podcast Studio Rental
No hidden fees. Our hourly rates include the studio, equipment, engineer, and standard file delivery. The only additional costs are optional add-ons you choose: rush delivery, advanced editing, custom graphics, live streaming, teleprompter, or additional recording time beyond your booked hours. We're completely transparent about pricing.
Absolutely. We welcome studio tours by appointment. Contact us to schedule a time to see our facility, meet our team, and ask any questions. Many podcasters like to visit first to ensure our space fits their vision.
Yes. While our Premium package includes professional editing, we also offer post-production services for any podcast - even if you didn't record with us. Services include audio mixing/mastering, video editing, color grading, graphics creation, and content repurposing for social media. Ask about our editing packages.
No. Our studio provides everything you need: professional microphones, audio interface, cameras, lighting, headphones, and all technical equipment. Just bring yourself, your guests, and your content ideas. We handle the rest. If you have specific branding materials (logos, graphics, intro music), you can bring those for integration (additional fees apply).
Yes. We're a full-service creative agency with 20+ years of storytelling experience. Beyond studio rental, we offer podcast strategy consulting, full podcast production (we handle everything), podcast editing, branded content creation, audience growth strategies, and content repurposing. Many clients start with studio rental and expand to full production as their podcast grows.
Our podcast studio rental rates range from $148/hour for audio-only recording to $298/hour for premium video podcast production with full editing and branding. All packages include a professional engineer, equipment, and file delivery. We require a 2-hour minimum booking. Volume discounts available when you book multiple sessions.
The cost varies depending on whether you want to produce independently or work with a full-service partner. Doing it yourself with basic equipment can start around a few hundred dollars for a microphone and recording software.
Working with a production partner like Captivation Agency means your investment covers the studio, the recording, the editing, the publishing, and the ongoing distribution, so your team carries none of the production burden.
Most organizations find that the time saved by outsourcing production makes a full-service approach the smarter investment.
Standard delivery is 48-72 hours after your session. For audio-only packages, you receive high-quality WAV files ready for editing or publishing. Video packages include raw footage. Need it faster? We offer rush delivery for an additional fee.
Perfect! Many of our clients are first-time podcasters. Our experienced engineer will guide you through the entire process, offer tips for better performance, and help you feel comfortable on mic and camera. We'll explain everything in plain English and make sure you leave with content you're proud of. No technical knowledge required.
Three key differences:
- Professional acoustic treatment eliminates echo and background noise that home recordings can't avoid,
- Our experienced engineer handles all technical aspects so you can focus entirely on content,
- Multi-camera video capabilities and professional lighting create visual quality that's impossible to replicate at home. Plus, you avoid the $5,000-$10,000 equipment investment.
All types! We've recorded interview shows, solo content, panel discussions, branded business podcasts, nonprofit storytelling, educational series, and more. Our flexible setup accommodates 1-2 people comfortably. Whether you're creating weekly episodes or occasional special content, our studio scales to your needs.
Audio-only podcasting focuses purely on sound quality - perfect for interview shows, narrative podcasts, and content consumed while driving or exercising. Video podcasts add visual elements with multi-camera setups, lighting, and editing -essential for YouTube distribution and social media clips. In 2026, 41% of podcast listeners prefer video content, making it increasingly important for audience growth. We offer both options to match your content strategy.
Podcasting for Nonprofits
Absolutely. That is the entire point of working with a full-service production partner.
You bring zero technical experience and zero production knowledge. Your job is to have a conversation about the work you already care deeply about.
Everything else is handled for you.
Video is not required, but it adds significant value.
A video-recorded podcast episode gives you far more content to work with. You can clip short video segments for social media, feature the human face of your guests on your website, and use the footage in donor communications and grant applications.
If the option is available, record video alongside audio every time.
Once a month is plenty to start. Consistency matters more than frequency.
A monthly episode that is well-produced and genuinely interesting will build more trust and loyalty than a weekly episode that feels rushed or inconsistent.
As your system grows and your library builds, you can increase frequency if it makes sense.
Start with the stories your audience already cares about. Donor impact stories. Staff journeys. Program participant experiences. Community partner perspectives. Board member reflections.
You are not creating entertainment. You are documenting the real human impact of your mission. That material is already around you.
It just needs a microphone and a system.
